President’s Message

The Korea Shooting Federation has been striving to improve national prestige by improving people’s quality of life and training outstanding shooters through shooting sports.

Until now, numerous student athletes have been discovered and trained. Their performance has and had improved considerably to become a nation with innumerable gold medals at the Olympics. At the same time, as we had held various worldwide events including the World Shooting Championships, we are evaluated by the world shooting community for our excellence in hosting and operating international events.

Shooting sports is a comprehensive sports that requires mental concentration and psychological stability toward a goal based on physical strength with using firearms and ammunition. Many athletes are sweating for a bright future by overcoming these hardships. We support the athletes and coaches, as well as the shooting community so that their efforts are not wasted.

In order to further enhance the achievements that the Korea Shooting Federation has made so far, we ask for your support and encouragement so that shooting sports can receive much attention and love from the public and become one of the leading sports in Korea.
